DAVID Beckham will put the rumoured family feud with his son Brooklyn to bed next Friday at his 50th birthday party.

Insiders told The Sun David was throwing a lavish dinner party at posh three Michelin star restaurant Core in London – with chef Clare Smyth spending six weeks designing a one-of-a-kind menu to celebrate his milestone day.

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise and David's Class of '92 teammates are also on the guest list.

A source said: "David is going all out for his 50th – and while a dinner party seems understated it is going to be a bash to remember.

"He absolutely loves Core and has hired out the restaurant.

"Clare, who is the chef and owner of Core, has spent over a month refining a tailor made menu for David and his guests.

"Brooklyn and Nicola are on the list, as well as Romeo, Cruz and Harper, and his and Victoria's parents – it's a proper family affair.

"Tom, who is a close friend of David's, has also made the cut, along with his famous mates who live in London.

"David threw a big party in Miami for his American friends but on his actual birthday, Friday May 2, he wants a more intimate celebration.

"There will be speeches and lots of champagne flowing, as well as David's Haig Club whisky."

Clare's restaurant Core says it's an "elegant fine-dining restaurant emphasising natural, sustainable food."

On the website, they add: "We craft exquisite dishes using the best British produce from dedicated farmers."

Dishes on the set menu, which start at £185, include Isle of Harris scallop tartare with a sea vegetable consommé and Herdwick lamb with sheep's curd and black cardamom.

East London-born David will also be a fan of the jellied eels on the menu, after admitting he loved eating the slimy snacks.

David has followed in Victoria's footsteps with his choice for his 50th, after she hired out fancy London restaurant Oswalds to celebrate her big day last year.
