DAVID Beckham has revealed he took his sons Romeo and Cruz on a fishing trip for his birthday – but his eldest son Brooklyn was a no-show again amid reports of a family feud.

The footie legend said he had planned the lads-only getaway with his sons six months ago.

But his eldest son Brooklyn, 26, was noticeably absent from from the trip – after he also skipped his dad's party and family dinner.

The Sun exclusively revealed David's "heartbreak" that his eldest son did not join his London celebrations over the weekend.

Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, were missing from Victoria's Instagram posts from the bash – including a family shot of Posh, 51, and Becks with their three other children – Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.

It is understood the couple instead flew to New York ahead of their Met Gala appearance, an event they previously attended in 2022.

Influencer Brooklyn and Nicola, who married that year and live in Los Angeles, spent the last week in London but were no-shows at an intimate family dinner in the Cotswolds last Wednesday

They also missed a family trip to France on Friday and Saturday night's soiree in London.

It comes as footy star David and wife Victoria hired out a posh Notting Hill restaurant to celebrate with their family and A-list friends.

The Sun revealed the bash was shut down by the council for being too noisy

As David's birthday celebrations were in full swing at the weekend, model and actress Nicola shared an emotional post on Instagram.

The strangely timed post made no mention of her father-in-law but instead described her special bond with her late grandmothers.

She wrote: "They were my best friends, there wasn't a day I wasn't with them."

And it sparked a wave of comments from fans.

One wrote: "I can imagine your husband's father is feeling the immense loss of his son on his birthday week and it's shameful."

Insiders said David and Victoria were sad Brooklyn did not attend any of the parties, send a card or call.

An insider said: "Everyone had an amazing time.

"Naturally David and Victoria were upset Brooklyn wasn't there with them but made sure it was an occasion to remember."

Brooklyn previously fell out with his parents shortly after his marriage to Nicola.
