SPICE Girls guru Simon Fuller is facing a £200million divorce payout — and is "chasing" their reunion to help pay for it, it is claimed.

The music mogul, 64, is hoping to persuade the group to get back together for a mega-money 30th anniversary tour to meet the bills heading his way.

It comes after wife Natalie, 46 — married to Fuller for 17 years — filed for divorce on Friday citing "irreconcilable differences".

He is estimated to be worth more than £445million, of which she is entitled to up to half.

A source said: "This explains a lot about Simon's desire to get the Spice Girls back together and on the road for a lucrative money-spinning tour."

Fuller, who began his career in 1981 and launched Pop Idol in 2001, has spent much of his career as a friend to A-listers across entertainment and sport.

He led the Spice Girls to global success during the 1990s and last month was in touch with Geri Horner amid rumours that they would meet to thrash out a deal for a reunion.

In 2019, the band made almost £18million in profit from 13 stadium shows and it is estimated a new tour could yield £30million.

Victoria Beckham told friends she is "90 per cent out of the running" for next year but Geri, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C are considering it.

Fuller, who signed a pre- nuptial agreement with Natalie, married her in May 2008 and the band were guests at the bash.

Annie Lennox and Leona Lewis, who Fuller also managed, were among the others.

During his career, Fuller has also looked after David Beckham, tennis great Andy Murray and F1 ace Lewis Hamilton, amassing considerable wealth.

Time magazine named him one of the world's 100 most influential people in 2007 and, in 2008, Billboard magazine rated him the most successful British music manager of all time.

In 2016, he persuaded ABBA to reunite and explore working with virtual reality, which led to the ABBA Voyage project.

The 2020 Sunday Times Rich List put his wealth at £445million.

He has three children with interior designer Natalie, one aged 14 and nine-year-old twins.
