THE MAN who allegedly rammed his car through Jennifer Aniston's front gate is now under investigation for stalking after bizarre Facebook posts surfaced calling the actress his "bride".
The Friends star, 56, was inside her Bel Air home during the terrifying incident, which saw 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle arrested for felony vandalism.
The LAPD Threat Management Unit is now probing whether the suspect deliberately targeted the Hollywood actress, with officials reviewing chilling social media posts under his name.
According to TMZ, Aniston's security team detained Carwyle at gunpoint after he allegedly smashed through the gates of her $21million pad around lunchtime on Monday.
They pulled him from the wrecked vehicle and held him until police arrived and took him into custody without incident.
The LAPD said in a statement: "There was a security guard on premises who was able to detain that suspect until officers arrived, at which time they took him into custody without incident."
A public information officer added: "The resident was home at the time."
Cops say they are now "reviewing social media posts" under Carwyle's name — including a Facebook page littered with "bizarre and rambling" messages referencing Aniston.
One chilling post refers to the star as his "bride," while at least five others feature her full name.
It remains unconfirmed if the account belongs to the man arrested at the scene or someone with the same name.
While LAPD told ABC7 the incident may have been an accident, insiders have cast doubt on that, with sources telling the outlet that the crash "did not look like an accident."
Officials also revealed Carwyle had a minor criminal history but had not previously been under investigation in connection to Jennifer Aniston.
Sources told ABC the suspect was not believed to have entered the house.
Aniston is also understood to be unhurt, according to TMZ.
The man was reportedly treated at the scene for back injuries and transported to hospital.
He is expected to be booked for felony vandalism, law enforcement sources told ABC.
The investigation will also examine Carwyle's background and motives, as well as his social media activity.
Aniston purchased the 8,500-square-foot Bel-Air estate in 2011.
Designed by A. Quincy Jones and completed in 1965, the mid-century modern mansion famously hosted her 2015 wedding to actor Justin Theroux.
It boasts four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a wine cellar, pool, and sweeping city and ocean views across nearly two acres.
The actress previously told Architectural Digest: "There's something about picking up fabrics and finishes that feeds my soul."
Aniston also revealed she had worked with a team of top designers to turn the sleek property into a tranquil oasis.
