STAR TREK SEASON 3 AIR DATE REVEALED
The series is back July 17th at Paramount Plus
It seems it's been years since the second season, but Paramount + promises the third season of STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS science fiction series is finally arriving July 17th this summer after such a long, long wait! To celebrate it they released the official poster
a month after the release of a teaser back in April, and a bunch of lovely new characters posters which you can all see below in the post, announcing what we can expect from the new season. It is interesting that the fourth season has already been ordered and is currently in production over in Canada. Hope we also get a full trailer soon for the new season.
 
IN THE BRAND NEW SEASON
 Anson Mount returns as Captain Pike at the helm of USS Enterprise in the conclusion of season two's scary battle with the Gorn which ended with a cliff hanger. Now, new life and civilizations await the crew, including a villain that will test our characters' grit and resolve and take characters both new and beloved to new heights, and dive into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek. As you can see there will be a retro murder mystery aboard the ship which will also see the return of Paul Wesley as James T. Kirk. Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia all return as regular crew members, alongside guest stars Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt,and Carol Kane. The series will again stream on Paramount Plus and in some parts of Europe on SkyShowtime. Beside the fact that one of the episodes will see the crew of Enterprise turn Vulcan, we also know that Cillian O'Sullivan will be joining the new season as a recurring guest star, playing the legacy role of Dr. Roger Korby, a renowned archaeologist and scientist known for his groundbreaking work in the field of medical archaeology. Martin Quinn, as a young version of future Enterprise chief engineer Montgomery Scott will also be a regular now.
