Beyonce quits £25k a night London hotel so fellow pop A-lister can move in as she ‘bows down’ to star

BEYONCE moved out of her plush hotel to make way for Mariah Carey after she flew into London for Capital's Summertime Ball.

The Crazy In Love singer was staying at the Corinthia's £25,000-a-night penthouses for her Cowboy Carter tour dates at the Tottenham Stadium.

But when Mariah arrived on Friday, Beyonce packed up and checked into Claridge's for the final few nights of her stay.

A source said: "Superstars as big as Beyonce and Mariah want to stay in only the best hotels.

"Beyonce had been staying in Corinthia's penthouses.

"But when Mariah flew in, Beyonce packed up so Mariah could take over her suites.

"It was like Beyonce was bowing down to another music queen."

We told on Saturday how actress Sydney Sweeney had to find other accommodation after Bey booked the suites.

Mariah wowed with fan fave hits on Sunday night.

There was a lot of love for her new single Type Dangerous too, with the track's music video dropping this Friday.

A source said: "Mariah is an icon.

"Getting her to perform at the Summertime Ball was a historic moment for Capital."
