Rumours started circling the couples marriage after Cat unfortunately failed to attend Partick's mothers funeral.

The couple explained her absence was purely to continue to be there for their children, conducting school pick ups and drop offs.

But there were other clues of a strained relationship, as due to their hectic schedules they lived separate lives.

It is believed that their marriage was effectively over six months prior to the announcement.
