Baywatch and The Hangover actor Floyd Levine dies aged 93 after lengthy on-screen career – as Kris Jenner pays tribute

ACTOR Floyd Levine has died at the age of 93, his family said.

The screen star, who appeared in popular shows such as Baywatch, died peacefully on Sunday.

Levine, from New York, played an unnamed tailor in The Hangover, which starred actors such as Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha.

His death was announced by his daughter-in-law, Tracy Robbins.

"My beloved father-in-law, Floyd Levine, passed away peacefully yesterday on August 24, surrounded by his beautiful family (and probably wishing someone would bring him a martini.)," Levine's daughter-in-law, Tracy Robbins, said.

Robbins described Levine as the "best father-in-law, grandpa, and all around jokester."

In her heartfelt social media post, Robbins said she will miss Levine's humor and stories.

"I will miss him dearly, but I know he's making the angels laugh already," she said.

"Love you grandpa.

"And yes… you always did it your way to the very end."

Tributes have poured in for Levine following his death.

"We are sending prayers for the family and lots of love," Kris Jenner said.

GLITTERING CAREER

Levine's acting career spanned more than five decades.

He starred in TV series such as Murder, She Wrote, and Days of Our Lives.

Levine played two characters, Harry Krumholtz and Archie Miles, in Murder, She Wrote between 1985 and 1989.

His on-screen break came with an appearance in the show Come Back Charleston Blue in 1972.

Levine starred in two episodes of Kojak between 1976 and 1977, and an episode of Starsky and Hutch in 1978.

Other shows that he appeared in were Quincy M.E., Hart to Hart and Police Squad.

Throughout the 1980s, Levine appeared in shows such as Hill Street Blues, The A-Team, and The Dukes of Hazzard.

Levine played Mr. Baldwin in The Dukes of Hazzard – a program that featured the likes of Tom Wopat, John Schneider, and Catherine Bach.

He played a crime gang boss in a 1998 episode of Baywatch.

Levine's final credited acting role came in the 2012 flick A Thousand Words, which featured Eddie Murphy and Kerry Washington.
