Blazin' Squad shot to fame in 2002 and are best known for top three hits Crossroads, We Just Be Dreamin' and Flip Reverse.

Over the years the band members have gone in different directions, and various attempts to get them back together have stalled.

Also, band member Marcel Somerville has enjoyed success on Love Island, having been on the show in 2007, before having another go in January on the All Stars spin-off.

But now they heading in a different direction, and have introduced the Blazin' Brunch.

Fans can along to the various selected restaurants across the UK and the band will be there.

Six of the ten-piece group are reuniting, including Marcel.

Posting on Instagram, the group said: "The Blazin Bottomless Brunch is hitting 6 cities starting this weekend : Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester, Cambridge, Southampton & Liverpool."

"Yes, we'll be there. Yes, it's going to be huge. And yes, tickets are flying."

Shortly after his appearance on Love Island at the start of the year, Marcel opened up about how he wanted the whole band to get back together.

He also said he would like to see Blazin' Squad play at the 02 Arena.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Marcel, whose nickname in the Squad is Rocky B, said: "Obviously there are ten of us, it makes it a little bit harder, because that's more people we have to bring back to the camp.

"Do you know what? I feel like if we could get all ten of us back together, I reckon we could definitely do the O2.

"Back in the day, before we split, we'd played Wembley, and had two nights in Manchester, two nights in Newcastle, and two nights in Birmingham. We were playing all the arenas, so it's like, if we could get everyone back.

"Last year was the 22nd anniversary, so I think the 25th anniversary is probably the sweet spot.

"So maybe in three years' time, 25th anniversary, I might start a whole campaign for it now, to bring the Squad back together."

The noughties nostalgia circuit has seen a big boost lately with bands like S Club 7, 5ive and Sugababes all getting back together.

A slim-lined Blazin' Squad last released music in 2009 as a five-piece featuring Mustafa "Strider" Omer, James "Flava" Murray, James "Kenzie" McKenzie, Lee "Krazy" Bailey and Marcel.

Speaking about the Blazin' Brunch, Marcel added: "The Squad are going to be touring throughout the summer, and we're going to be doing Blazin' Brunch, which is going to be in line with Revolution.

"We're just going around and touring different venues up and down the country, doing different performances with the Squad."
