COLDPLAY were forced to call a halt to their Wembley show TWICE on one night as security intervened.

The Fix You hitmakers have faced a difficult week – with loyal fans left in turmoil after some London gig dates for their Music Of The Spheres tour were switched up at the last minute.

As the track wrapped, the 48-year-old again flagged another crowd incident in Wembley[/caption]

On Saturday, frontman Chris Martin, 48, took the lead in putting the safety of the crowd first as he interrupted the group's encore during their hit Sparks.

According to MirrorOnline, he gestured towards the standing section at the iconic venue before urging his band to pause during the encore.

Security and medical teams were then seen taking action as he said: "Does anyone else have any medical issues? Diabetes? Anything we need to know about?"

Yet as soon as the song, released back in 2000 wrapped, there were more interruptions to come as another.

Chris is claimed to have jokingly made light of the situation before directing the emergency services to the person in need and reassuring them they would be OK.

He told the London audience: "Oh god, we are making people faint.

"It's your fault Guy [Berryman, the band's bassist] for being so handsome that's what it is.

"Everyone fainting looking at our bass player."

He added: "Are you guys OK, come on. We have got you, you are safe.

"I hope you feel better my brother. He is going to look after you pretty well. Okay, alright? You will be safe, just hang out backstage and we will look after you."

Chris then added: "Thank you, thank you everybody for taking care of each other. That is amazing."

Kicking off with Higher Power, the 23-song setlist included all the group's mega tracks including A Sky Full Of Stars – where the band also re-started the tune as they asked the audience to put their phones away.

After Sparks, Coldplay rattled off five more tracks and wrapped with All My Love.

The sold out gig was part of their 10-date run at the football stadium – yet the tour itself was overshadowed by ticket issues this week.

TICKET TRAUMA

Earlier this week, fans of the band were left fuming as they changed the final two concerts of their current 10-show Wembley Stadium run have been rescheduled due to strikes on the London Underground.

They were quick to apologise to disappointed fans who were left frantically trying to sell off useless tickets to the rescheduled shows.

The band said their only option to avoid cancelling was rescheduling the gigs planned for September 7 and September 8.

The September 7 gig will now be held on September 6 and the September 8 gig will be held on September 12.

Coldplay fans hit out over the late announcement with many left with expensive and now useless flights, hotel bookings and gig tickets.

Despite the band's apology disappointed punters branded the move "not really good enough."

Hundreds took to social media to complain about the late change of plans, leaving furious comments on the unexpected announcement.

One said: "Train tickets to go on the Monday £300, new tickets to go on the Friday £610 what a nightmare."
