Love Island’s Olivia Bowen ‘nearly died’ giving birth after losing LITRES of blood in traumatic emergency c-section

LOVE Island star Olivia Bowen has revealed she nearly died giving birth to her baby daughter.

The 31-year-old star announced the birth of her baby daughter, Siena Grace, yesterday – her second child with husband Alex Bowen.

However, it's now been revealed that the star suffered a traumatic birth which resulted in her losing litres of blood as she was forced to undergo an emergency c-section to deliver the baby safely.

A source told Daily Mail: "Olivia could have died during birth if it wasn't for the incredible team at her local hospital.

"She lost nearly three litres of blood needing an urgent blood transfusion and emergency c-section."

Thankfully, the procedure was successful, with baby Siena born safely and Olivia now recovering form the birth.

The Sun has contacted reps for Olivia Bowen for comment.
