THEY say revenge is a dish best served cold.
But Margot Robbie set the red carpet on fire in a sheer, floor-length gown this week — her blushes only spared by a few skillfully placed crystals.

The actress's decision to step out in the bejewelled Armani number at the London premiere of her new romantic movie A Big Bold Beautiful Journey was by far the most risque fashion statement the Hollywood A-lister has ever made.
The dazzling dress quickly broke the internet yesterday as the world collectively gasped at Margot's daring look and stunning natural beauty.
But I can't help but feel this fearless fashion moment was in fact a deft power-dressing move by the savvy Barbie star to stick two fingers up at deadbeat internet trolls who cruelly body-shamed her while she was pregnant last year.
Australian star Margot, 35, was bombarded with vile comments after she was pictured in August 2024 showing off her baby bump in a bikini as she relaxed and laughed on holiday in Italy with her British husband Tom Ackerley.
Knuckleheaded remarks included, "Our Barbie is not Barbieing any more" and, "She was my biggest crush, now her body is toast".
Some cruel idiots even branded her "Margot Blobby".
So who can blame her for wanting to give such damaging bilge the bum's rush with a "f*** you" fashion move?
And let's not forget it's not even a year since Margot gave birth to her son last October.
To my mind, it is a miracle she has managed to get out of the house without finding half a slice of Marmite on toast unknowingly stuck down the front of her top, let alone pulling off full wattage red carpet glam.
So good on her for celebrating her incredible body in all its magnificence.
There will, of course, be some who roll their eyes at such a brazen display of flesh, questioning why Margot — one of Tinseltown's smartest businesswomen — feels the need to totter down the red carpet with her rear shamelessly on show like a runner-up from Love Island.
Yet most, like me, will no doubt heartily cheer her bare-faced cheek.
As the hackneyed old saying goes, "If you've got it, flaunt it".
And quite frankly, as a mum of three myself, if I was in possession of a Margot body, I would be wearing that frock not only on the red carpet, but on the school run, in the aisles of Tesco and into the office every day.
Sure, my fellow commuters on the 8.23am into London Waterloo might get a bit of a shock, but what the hell — live and let live!
Margot may have looked a vision of perfection to most but, inexplicably, a few of these sad-sack keyboard warriors still managed to find fault by continuing to post comments about her appearance yesterday.
"Average at best, short legs, no waist", read one disparaging remark.
Yeah, right, and I'm am sure she would speak very highly of you, too, mate . . .
But among most right-thinking people, Margot's extraordinary image was met with the sound of jaws collectively hitting the floor around the world.
The bottom line is, Margot has a blockbuster movie, a new baby, a happy Hollywood marriage and a hot bod.
And that's the bare truth.

Stars' style statements laid bare
CELEBS are no strangers to daring gowns and a dash of glamour.
The biggest names in music and showbiz have been snapped for decades stepping out in barely-there style, leaving little to the imagination with their revealing red carpet outfits.
And just like Margot – who stars alongside Colin Farrell in her new movie – they have turned plenty of heads.
Here, Fabulous Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale takes a look at other A-listers who have shown off their curves in eye-popping outfits.
Maya Jama
MY oh Maya! This floaty number worn by the Love Island presenter in July could easily be mistaken for lingerie.

The 31-year-old looked stunning in a black lace Dior dress, complete with matching cape and black underwear set.
And she proved that this kind of look doesn't only have to be for the bedroom.
Maya positively sizzled on screen when she slipped into the sheer get-up to host a Casa Amor recoupling episode.
It manages to give sultry yet sophisticated vibes.
Dua Lipa
SHE is a celebrity firmly on board with the belief that less is more in the wardrobe department.

In April, Dua dazzled at the Chaplin Award Gala in New York by stepping out in a black mesh dress by Italian design house Schiaparelli.
The low-cut knitted number hugged the 30-year-old singer's silhouette and the material left very little to the imagination.
Wearing black pants underneath was a great way of making this outfit subtly but unmissably sexy.
Zara Larsson
IN a dress created especially for her, singer Zara wowed at last week's VMAs.

Her sheer, baby blue mini robe came courtesy of Irish designer Sorcha O'Raghallaigh.
It was completely see-through and adorned with 3D flowers over the chest to cover her assets.
Zara, 27, wore white embellished pants underneath to complete the look, and a matching flower in her hair.
Playful, but with more of a summer in the Noughties vibe than true Hollywood glam.
Halle Berry
HALLE was determined to give the young ones a run for their money in a revealing fishtail gown at May's Met Gala.

Proving you don't need to be in your twenties to be daring, the 59-year-old flashed some flesh in a LaQuan Smith number.
Despite its sheer, black vertical stripes barely protecting her modesty, the star decided to go without underwear.
A bold move – but I do fear this dress is a fashion mishap just waiting to happen.
Sabrina Carpenter
AS famous for her saucy outfits as her raunchy lyrics, it's no surprise that pop princess Sabrina went for an eye-popping image at the VMA awards.

The 26-year-old looked red hot in a sheer Valentino dress embellished with a pretty lace detail which cleverly allowed her to display some skin without putting everything on show.
Plus, with its high neck and long sleeves, it felt really classy.
Accessorised with a furry shawl, it's no wonder Sabrina stole the show.
