The news comes after a difficult year for the couple.

Jesy and Zion welcomed identical twin girls into the world in May following a high-risk pregnancy.

Their babies needed life-saving surgery in the womb.

Jesy lived in hospital for weeks after the twins were diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare but serious condition in which blood flows unevenly between identical twins sharing a placenta.

The singer also revealed she had a "threatened miscarriage" early on in the pregnancy.

In her first TV interview after giving birth, the singer declared back in July: "Thank you for having us. We made it!"

Crading Ocean Jade, and revealing her twins were 69 days old, she joked: "Ocean is receding a little bit bless her. So that's how we can tell (them apart)".

Jesy revealed daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe were born premature at 31 weeks and five days, but her nightmare began very early on in her pregnancy.

She said: "I mean when we first found out we were having twins which was just crazy we were excstatic over the moon. Zion looked like he'd seen a ghost.

"Had the scan and immediately the guy told us I hav e to refer you to a twin specialist.

"The next day, the doctor sat us down and told us all the complications. I felt like, I couldn't believe the percentages and what could potentially happen. From that point I couldn't enjoy my pregnancy.

"They told us we could only take it two weeks at a time, I didn't even want to announce it.

"When I look back now it makes me so sad, it's supposed to be the happiest time. We had no idea this could happen with twins."

Zion, proudly cradling Story Monroe during the interview, added: "I just felt whilst Jess was going through it all, words of reassurance is all I could do and trying to stay positive."

Jesy and Zion were joined by their consultant, Dr Ruwan Wimalasundera, who explained the dangers posed to monochorionic twins in the womb.

He said there is a very high chance of miscarriage in monochorionic twins due to them growing in the same sac and their blood vessels being joined together in their joint placenta.

Jesy had to have a high risk procedure called a Fetoscopic laser to separate the blood vessels.

Jesy said: "Every time we were going for scans it was getting a little bit worst and a little bit worst.

"We had scans weekly. I still didn't think we'd have the procedure. I was in denial.

"I went to see him (the doctor) on the Tuesday and had (surgery) on the Thursday.

"There were symptoms to look out for, if your belly feels like a drum, if you are out of breath.

"After my scan we'd gone to the park and I couldn't even walk because I was so out of breath.

"But it's hard when you're pregnant with twins, what's normal?

"Thanks to Zion, I said to him, can you feel my body, because I've got so used to feeling like this I don't know what's normal."

Alison asked: "Did you feel something different Zion?"

He said: "I had been feeling it throughout the pregnancy and this time it felt really really tight. Like my fingers couldn't press in."

Dr Ruwan ordered them to return to the hospital immediately and prepared for surgery that night.

Zion added: "That procedure is not even guaranteed to work, and that was another thing that was terrifying."

Jesy went it labour quickly afterwards and stayed in hospital for ten weeks.

She added: "I felt safe to be there, I actually didn't want to go home."
