DANCING On Ice pro Brendyn Hatfield has spoken out after being left horrified by recent stories on his split from Rachel Stevens.
It came after Rachel, 47, opened up about dealing with some difficult times following the breakdown of their three-year relationship.

Rachel spoke about "gaslighting" and "manipulation" in her first post after their split was revealed in The Sun.
Her emotional words were immediately linked back to Brendyn in headlines by other outlets.
The dad of one has now publicly vented in a deleted Instagram post, which The Sun has seen.
The American skater, who was a staple on ITV's DOI from 2019 until its axe this year, wrote: "Just to be clear the recent headlines linking my name to words like gaslighting, poor behavior, unkindness, manipulation, are misleading.
"Those words were never used about me.
"I won't be dwelling on it anymore as it's caused enough stress and I will be moving forward with my head held high knowing the truth."
Brendyn, 40, also thanked his supporters, and said: "Thank you to everyone that reached out with kindness and support as it meant the world."
The Sun have been to Brendyn's reps for a comment.
Rachel's first post following the news of their split was a gallery of messages, inspiring quotes, and she spoke about the "highs and lows" of life recently.
The singer also shared this quote: "And sometimes we have to remind ourselves: that we are no responsible for other people's poor behaviour towards us, or their gaslighting, or their manipulation, or their unkindness. That's on them.

"What's on you, is how you choose to respond, set boundaries, know your worth, and not let their actions impact the beautiful soul that you are."
Rachel concluded with some uplifting messages about being in a "new era" and "choosing her mental wellbeing" above anything else.
STAR SPLIT
The Sun revealed how Rachel had split from Brendyn just nine months after branding him her "soulmate".
Sources claim the pair drifted apart and struggled to reconcile their "blended family".
News of the separation comes three years on from the end of her marriage to childhood sweetheart, Alex Bourne.
The couple first went official with their romance in November 2022.
Brendyn announced he was quitting Dancing On Ice last year and the 2025 series would be his last.
His previous partners included Ferne McCann, Ekin Culculoglu and his ex Rachel.
The Sun later revealed the show had been axed amid a ratings slump.
An ITV Spokesperson said: "Following another successful series earlier this year, Dancing On Ice will be rested in 2026 with no current plans for another series.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the cast and crew who have worked on the show since 2006, and over the previous 17 series, for all of their hard work both on and off the ice."
