REALITY TV star Kelsey Bateman has died unexpectedly at the age of 39.
Bateman rose to fame on the show Rock of Love, where more than 20 women competed to become singer Bret Michaels' girlfriend.

Her cause of death remains unknown, as reported by TMZ.
A family source told the outlet that Bateman died recently.
Bateman was 21 when she appeared in the third and final season of the VH1 show, which aired in 2009 and was won by Taya Parker.
She was eliminated from the show after getting "wasted" with her co-stars.
Ahead of the elimination, two of her competitors had to hold her as they staggered to the stage.
"I ended up laying on a speed bump balling my eyes out but you know what?" she said in a confessional clip.
"But I mean, hey, I can't be the only girl that's got drunk and laid on a speed bump. Let's be honest."
Michaels, the lead singer of the rock band Poison, delivered his verdict, ending Bateman's hopes of winning the contest.
The star told Bateman she was "no longer there" during a concert.
The rocker admitted he wasn't sure she would be best suited to a life on the road.
"And at some point you were laying on a speed bump talking saying you couldn't handle this any longer," he said.
"I think tonight the fact that you are needing to be who you are not, the fact you need to drink this much?"
Despite eliminating Bateman, Michaels described her as an "awesome and beautiful girl."
Her elimination left her co-stars stunned.
Bateman gestured to her competitors as she left the show.
She defiantly claimed that Michaels couldn't "handle a girl that likes to get drunk or lay on speed bumps.
"I'm going to go home and I'm going to be single," she said.
"I'm not going to think about guys for a while, but the next guy I find definitely won't be 44 and probably not a rock star."
Tributes have been paid online as news of Bateman's death emerged.
"Fans will remember her bold personality, memorable one-liners, and the way she brought raw honesty and emotion to the show," one X user said.
"Though her time on television was brief, she made a lasting impact on viewers and became a part of a reality TV era many people still look back on with nostalgia."
Rock of Love viewers reminisced on how they enjoyed watching her on the show.
"Oh my gosh, I liked her so much. She just wanted to have fun," a fan wrote on Facebook.
"39 is so young<" another said as they posted a crying emoji.
