REBEL WILSON has swapped Hollywood for Croydon as she shoots new film Girl Group.
Large segments of the film, due out next year, have been filmed in the Whitgift shopping centre – about as far away from the private members clubs of Los Angeles Rebel is used to as possible.

As well as Croydon, the film will also be shot in Dagenham.
The Sun can exclusively reveal that stars from a 90s boy band and a noughties girl groups have been invited to take part.
Robbie Williams, Mel C and Nicole Scherzinger are all involved.
As well as writing and directing the film, the Pitch Perfect actress also plays the lead of Tazi Young.
Girl Group is also the reason for Rebel's bizarre surprise appearance at Reading Festival which saw her join The Kooks on stage as her character to perform Gangsters Paradise.
A source said: "Rebel was burned by Hollywood with directorial debut The Deb being locked in legal drama meaning it never made it to cinemas.
"But after a bit she dusted herself down and got back behind the camera. She's super well connected and it's fair to say her showbiz pals have rallied around her.
"There are so many cameos in Girl Group – fans will be stunned."
Opening up about life as a director, Rebel previously said: "As I start directing my second film, I have to take a moment to remember technically the first film I directed, The Deb, which has only been seen by audiences at Toronto International Film Festival.
"At least we had that and I'm proud for fighting for it to happen! But in these troubled times, we all need uplifting, funny empowering movies so I hope the powers that be let this movie out!"
