SIR Rod Stewart is bracing himself for the "blood-curdling" release of his wife, Penny Lancaster's new tell-all book.
The Scots singer took to his instagram stories to poke fun at the secrets Penny, 54, spills in her forthcoming memoir.

In the clip the husband and wife duo can be seen sitting on a colourful sofa while Sir Rod jokingly combs through the book, pretending to be mortified about the 'revelations' within.
As his wife giggles hysterically beside him, the D'Ya Think I'm Sexy' star gasps and says: "Wow this is incredible Penny.
"Absolutely blood curdling information in here."
He then flicks a page and cringes adding: "You shouldn't have put that in the book, Penny."
The father-of-eight then ramps up the silly humour saying: "Oh my God I can't read it," before throwing the hardback up in the air and catching it, prompting squeals of laughter from his wife.
He then adds, in a more serious tone: "No It's just the best, I'm so proud of her," before Penny leans in for a hug and a kiss from her husband of 18 years.
TV personality Penny's autobiography Someone Like Me is out this month and delves into her life story, from her undiagnosed dyslexia and being relentlessly bullied at school.
Penny also opens up about her marriage to Sir Rod and how she was forced to convince his six children that she wasn't a gold digger when they first met – when she was 27 and he was 53 and twice a divorcee.
Penny recently revealed she and the rocker argue about the 'normal' things in a marriage, mainly, parenting their two boys.
She said: "Rod and I argue about the usual stuff. Normally, it's over parenting.
"He says, "You spoil them too much with "Let me bring your breakfast up to your bed for you".' Then I might go, 'You're spoiling them when you say "I'll give you £20 if you can hit the crossbar with that ball".
It comes as Sir Rod was left devastated after he was forced to cancel a string of shows from his US tour after coming down with flu.
The Maggie May legend is set to perform in the Legends slot at Glastonbury in two weeks' time, but has been dogged with health issues over the last few weeks.
The multiple cancellations come after he was put on vocal rest between performances in May.
The 80-year-old noted he was planning to stop large-scale world tours at the end of this year.
Penny's book is released on September 25.
