Katherine Ryan has lifted the lid on her past love life – admitting she once had a "secret hot romance" with a fellow celebrity.
The 42-year-old comedian, who is expecting her fourth child with her husband Bobby Kootstra, opened up during a candid chat with Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast on Wednesday.
Katherine said she hasn't dated anyone famous "traditionally but said: "I once had a secret hot romance, like famous famous hot guy"
But she confessed she had to be "discreet" about the fling.
She added: "He wasn't that famous yet but I knew he was hot but everyone else has been pretty ugly."
She then admitted: "The hotter I was, I was dating the uglier.
"Bobby just happens to be good looking but that's not my type.
"Everyone was a psychotic narcissist and they probably say horrible things about me."
Katherine married her childhood sweetheart Bobby in 2019 and the couple now share son Fred, four, and daughter Fenna, two.
She is also mum to Violet, 16, from a previous relationship.
Speaking about her husband, she confessed: "I remember everything in my life.
"Bobby, I remember any discretion. Sometimes in therapy they are like 'let that go' and I'm like I can't. I love him but I don't trust him. I remember what he did to me when we were 16."
The pair first fell for each other as teenagers in Canada, but split for 20 years before rekindling their romance in 2018 and marrying the following year.
Katherine, who previously admitted to cheating on her ex and not having regrets, didn't hold back about their high school split either, joking: "When my current husband and I split up in High School.
"I was forced to maintain my own dignity to sleep with the prom security guard, but it worked I got my husband back.
"He was jealous. I play a long game, filled with self harm."
She previously admitted she was so heartbroken by their break-up that she once refused to leave her dad's apartment during a fire evacuation.
Katherine has said Bobby ended things when they were teens — not because he didn't care, but because he thought they were too young.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain in 2019, she explained: "I was a handful when I was a teenager.
"When he split with me, I don't blame him. He was like, 'Katherine, we have to travel, we have to go to university.' He was very logical.
"When you're 16 and in love, you think that's it. I was like, 'What do you mean we're not getting married?'"
The two didn't speak for two decades — until fate brought them back together.
Katherine recalled the moment she bumped into Bobby again after 20 years, during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
She said: "I went to the pub with my sister and into this pub walks my first love from when I was 15 years old. I haven't seen him in 20 years.
"I'm in an old jumper, he looked like a full blood Hemsworth brother, just hot… I hadn't seen him in 20 years."
She added: "I really did like him at the time. When we were young, I was deeply in love with him. We were Prom King and Queen."
The pair reunited for good, cementing their romance with a civil partnership ceremony in Denmark in 2019.
