Prime Video has sent us a trailer for their new comedy movie
MERV which will be ready for streaming
December 10th with
Charlie Cox and
Zooey Deschanel in the lead roles. It is a contemporary comedy about ex-couple Russ and Anna, who discover that Merv - the dog they share custody of - has become depressed due to their breaking up. Attempting to lift Merv's spirits at Christmas, Russ takes him on a "boys' trip", leaving freezing Minnesota for a dog-friendly beach in sunny Florida. Anna unexpectedly shows up, rekindling romantic feelings.
Patricia Heaton also stars.
