Brenda Blethyn and
Andrea Riseborough in the lead roles.
Paul Andrew Williams both wrote and directed the film in which Brenda plays neglected pensioner Elsie who finds an unexpected ally in her younger neighbour Colleen. Over time, a friendship grows but Elsie's resentful, guilt-ridden son stirs up tensions bringing shocking consequences.
Jason Watkins also stars in the movie as Elsie's son.
