The Burbs starts this February on Peacock

Peacock has released first teaser for their new dramedy THE BURBS which arrives February 8th next year with Keke Palmer in the lead role about a month ago, but now as the premiere is nearing we have a full trailer and also first promo posters for the brand new series. The eight episode comedic mystery thriller unfolds across the lawns of seemingly pristine suburbia. Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall play young married couple with Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and our dear Kapil Talwalkar as their Hinkley Hills neighbors. The series is a modern reimagining of the classic horror comedy

The series will have eight episodes

 from 1989. Haley Joel Osment and Justin Kirk will guest star.

 

 PEACOCK'S BRAND NEW SERIES

 is set in present-day suburbia and follows a young couple [Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall] who have reluctantly relocated to the husband's childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.
