Both Life Hacks and the Friday Early Breakfast show regularly switch up their hosts each month and now a series of famous faces have been confirmed to be stepping up to the plate.

TikTok star and I Kissed A Girl narrator Charley Marlowe will be sticking with the Beeb having joined Radio One this summer.

Having hosted on Fridays in July, the radio network have confirmed that she will be back on the airwaves to co-host Life Hacks with Lauren Layfield.

Elsewhere, former The X Factor contestants turned TikTok stars Jack Remmington and Ash Holme will be taking control of Early Breakfast across the station in October.

The pair first rose to prominence on the ITV talent show but it wasn't until years later when their frequent social media uploads began to go viral that they reached the dizzying heights of fame.

This summer, Ash was hired as a regular Aftersun panellist for the Love Island spin-off show before landing her new radio gig.

Jack and Ash were last heard on Radio One in 2023 when they hosted as part of the For You Page takeover.

Speaking of their return to the airwaves, they both said: "We're sooo excited to be back at BBC Radio 1 and this time soundtracking your Fridays through October – tune in to liven up your mornings and enjoy the energy and chaos we're bringing your way."

Before that, Scottish radio DJ and broadcaster Beth Wallace will host in her first major nationwide role.

Furthermore, Olympic athlete Lina Nielsen will become the host of Life Hacks for October.

Speaking of joining the BBC as a host, Lina said: "I'm thrilled to have this opportunity with Radio 1 and the Life Hacks team.

"Having been a guest on the show before the Olympics, I've always loved catching up with them live on air. Now, I can't wait to join as a co-host throughout October."

Across the board, they will be replacing outgoing hosts Yinka Bokinni, Danny Mylo and Rosie Madison.
