HE turned 83 back in June but Sir Paul McCartney is showing no signs of slowing down.
I can reveal The Beatles legend will release a new album next year, as well as hitting the road on a nationwide tour.

Insiders told me that Macca, whose last album McCartney III came out in 2020, has finished 90 per cent of his new album and hopes to have it finished and mastered by the end of the year.
A source said: "Paul has been working on the album all year and initially hoped it would be out by the end of this year but as with most things plans change.
"It's not quite finished but the majority of the album is done and Paul is really proud of it.
"As for live shows he's told his team he wants to tour the UK again, so live gigs next year are also happening."
Before the record comes out, Paul has the small task of heading out on a US tour.
The trek kicks off on September 29 in Palm Desert, California, before wrapping up on November 25 in Chicago.
Paul opened up about his work ethic and drive while speaking to fans last month.
He told them he is constantly regimented — even just before going out on stage.
He said: "I always get called an hour before the show, well, an hour before I'm going to be needed.
"In that time, I do certain things: I have a gargle with salt water, then I do my teeth, then I figure out what I'm going to wear, and then I have a kind of Chinese syrup solution you put hot water in.
"It's supposed to be good for your throat — if you've ever seen pictures of me before the show with a cup, that is what's in it."
He went on to admit that while he loves playing live gigs, it does take a toll on his body.
Paul said: "When I'm touring and playing guitar constantly, my fingertips develop callouses.
"Then when I have time off they go a bit softer, but will then harden up again when recording.
"I suppose I've got used to it, but I don't actually do anything to them to achieve that result."
Good luck with the album, Paul.
We're very much looking forward to hearing your latest work.
GAGA'S NET GAIN
LADY GAGA is fast becoming Netflix's new golden girl.
I can reveal the pop superstar landed a bumper pay day from the streaming giants after they used her Mayhem album track LoveDrug in The Thursday Murder Club.

Despite only 30 seconds of the track being used in the film, I'm told Netflix were more than happy to open their wallets to entice Gaga to use her music.
And insiders told me bosses are currently courting Gaga with the hope they will land a bigger project with her in the near future.
A source said: "It may only be an album track, but when Netflix bosses heard LoveDrug they knew they wanted it in the film.
"They paid Gaga a lot for it – even though they don't even use the full track.
"Right now Gaga and Netflix's working relationship is stronger than ever and execs at the streaming giant are secretly hoping Gaga will sign on for a bigger project with them."
It comes just weeks after we revealed Gaga has recorded new track Dead Dance for Netflix, which will feature in the second part of the new season of Addams family spin-off Wednesday.
A music video for the song was shot in Mexico earlier this summer, directed by Tim Burton.
Gaga also landed a small role in the series alongside Jenna Ortega and Joanna Lumley.
Next month the Poker Face singer will land in the UK to bring her jaw-dropping Mayhem Ball to fans over here.
She will play four sold-out shows at London's O2 Arena and another two at Co-Op Live in Manchester.
It's going to be incredible.
Bizbit
THERE was no mistaking Chappell Roan at Leeds Festival, after she wore her own face on her dress.
The Good Luck, Babe singer wore a ruff on her neck and a striking skirt for her set, ahead of a pair of shows in Edinburgh today and tomorrow, and a headline performance at Ireland's Electric Picnic next weekend.
I dread to think how many suitcases she must have had to bring over so she could wear custom designs like this on stage.
I hope she's saving up those air miles for her next well-earned holiday.
LEIGH-ANNE BURNS IT UP
LEIGH-ANNE was red hot as she headlined Manchester Pride on Saturday night, on a busy weekend which also saw her perform at Reading and Leeds.
The Little Mix star wore this tiny red two-piece to belt out her solo hits, and a selection of the group's biggest tunes, to thousands of fans.

Her performance came fresh off the back of the release of her latest single Burning Up, which has prompted fans to believe her debut solo album is finally on the way.
Leigh-Anne's former bandmates Jade and Perrie will release their albums a fortnight apart next month, and it is hoped she will follow suit before the end of the year.
She released her six-track No Hard Feelings EP last summer but I'm told she's all but completed her first full record.
And about time too.
TYLA TWERKS HER MAGIC
TYLA brought Johannesburg to East London as she performed the set of the festival at All Points East in Victoria Park.
The South Africa star twerked on stage in a tiny pink miniskirt and at one point told the crowd: "If you guys have a small ass or a big ass, I want to see you shaking it."

She was joined on stage by afrobeats star Wizkid for a performance of their latest tune Dynamite, which you will be shaking your behind to if you blast it out this bank holiday.
The festival was headlined by Raye, who was forced to briefly halt her performance mid-set after a punter collapsed, while FKA Twigs pulled all sorts of moves on stage, after signing up to the festival at the last minute after rapper Doechi cancelled earlier this week.
GOLDEN STILL TOP OF KPOPS
NETFLIX'S unstoppable KPOP Demon Hunters are on course to land the No1 spot for a fourth week with Golden.
Olivia Dean is also racing into the top five, with Man I Need To Date up to No4 in the charts. if it stays there it will be Olivia's highest charting single.
Doja Cat is on course to get this week's highest new entry, with Jealous Type already at No13.
Ed Sheeran's new single A Little More has jumped 11 places to No15, while Sombr is closing on a first top ten hit with song 12 To 12 currently at No10.
DODGY DATES REMEMBERED
REMEMBER MONDAY have plenty of songs about unsavoury exes and their latest tune Happier is no exception.
The summery track is all about being better off without a toxic partner.

But it seems the trio of Charlotte Steele, Holly-Anne Hull and Lauren Byrne, who represented the UK at this year's Eurovision, have a certain someone who has inspired some of their more pointed lyrics.
Although they are not waiting around to hear what the former flame thinks.
Charlotte said: "It's a nice theme with some of our songs. I wouldn't say this one's about anyone in particular though.
"As soon as you focus on a topic or like a situation to write a song about, you can always link it back to someone."
Holly-Anne continued: "The goal is that someone listens and is like, 'Ah I know who this reminds me of'."
While Lauren added: "Listen, the person that a few of our songs may or may not be about has no way of contacting us.
We'll never know what their opinion is."
LEONA'S VEGAS DREAM
LEONA LEWIS is counting down the weeks until her Las Vegas residency.
And The X Factor winner has now opened up about how she landed the 33 shows at The Venetian.

Leona said: "I saw Celine Dion in Vegas. In the back of my mind when I saw her, I just visualized myself there.
"All these years later, it's actually happening.
"It's crazy and amazing."
Appearing on Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's Nearly Parents podcast, out today, the Bleeding Love singer opened up about juggling her career with being a mum to her three-year-old daughter.
Leona explained: "I did my tour two years ago, and she was one.
"It was hard. I needed my family. You need to lean on your family a lot in these times.
"Especially in that first year, family is so important.
"Still being able to do music and sing and perform and do shows and still bring my baby along with me.
"My mum and dad have just been the biggest blessing in me."
SKEPTA: STRADE IS FUTURE
GRIME star Skepta is backing a new tech platform which allows artists to sell a portion of the ownership of their music to fans.
StradeBase lets fans to invest in the music they love, while giving artists full control of their royalties.
The app invites users to buy their music from the platform and once that is done, they will enter a chat forum with the artist where they can talk directly about music with them and other fans.
Skepta has called the platform "the future of music streaming royalties," and has been joined by other artists including Tiwa Savage, JME and Jammer in backing StradeBase.
JME has now dropped 100 shares of his 2015 track Integrity for £1 on the app.
