On Monday, Nas, real name Montero Lamar Hill, was released from jail after pleading not guilty to four felony charges, which include attacking cops during his naked arrest early on Thursday morning.

"Your girl is going to be okay," he said in a selfie video posted to Instagram on Tuesday.

"Okay? She's going to be alright."

The rapper laughed and looked around before continuing to speak.

"That was f**king terrifying. That was terrifying," he said.

"That was a terrifying last four days. But your girl is gonna be alright."

The 26-year-old is accused of charging at Los Angeles cops after he was found roaming Studio City in his underwear and a pair of cowboy boots at around 6 am.

Concerning video from the scene showed a visibly disorientated Nas, who was speaking incoherently and strutting down the street.

At one point in the footage, the singer put a traffic cone on his head.

Before his arrest, Nas was overly active on Instagram following a brief hiatus from social media.

In the last week, he shared a bizarre series of posts that sparked concern over his messy house and erratic language.

When officers tried to confront him at the scene, Nas allegedly ran at them and assaulted them, police said.

He was then taken to a nearby hospital for a possible overdose, where he stayed for a few hours before he was taken to jail.

After spending the weekend behind bars, he posted $75,000 on Monday.

A judge ordered him to attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings a week or to attend outpatient treatment.

However, his dad previously told TMZ that his son wasn't on drugs and asked his fans to pray for him.

Nas has been charged with three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, police said.
