OASIS guitarist, Paul Arthurs, has announced he will be missing leg of reunion tour amid ongoing cancer treatment following diagnosis earlier this year.

Paul "bonehead" Arthurs said he would not be attending the Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney gigs.

In a post on social media he said he had been responding well to treatment for prostate cancer after being diagnosed at the start of 2025.

In a bombshell announcement the guitarist said he is now moving onto the second phase of his treatment.

Despite this he will sadly be missing a leg of the "incredible tour."

Bonehead said he would return for the South American gigs and wished fans an "amazing time" at the gigs in his absence.

In a statement the guitarist said: "Early this year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

"The good news is I'm responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour.

"Now, I am having to take a planned break for the next phase of my care, so I'll be missing the gigs in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney.

"I'm really sad to be missing these shows but I'm feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America.

"Have an amazing time if you're going this month and I'll see you back onstage with the band in November."
